Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and well-known comedians. The comedian appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea, is a popular Irish actress writer and comedian. Bea began her stand-up comedy career in 2011after having appeared in small parts on several Irish TV shows as well as British shows since the year the year 2009. In 2012, she began being featured in sketch comedy programs or sitcoms as well as other similar programs. In 2012, she began appearing in panel shows following her win of an award from in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. She's a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016 and she is a popular contestant of the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was the daughter of Brian and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. The only female winner of So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. Bea's surname is in honour of her father who passed away. Aisling O'Sullivan, also referred to as Cliodhnadh Aisling was born in Kildare town, which is located in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian is an equine veterinarian who took his own life when she was only three years old. Bea didn't learn how her father passed away until she was thirteen. To honor the man she loved, Bea took the stage name Bea and in 2017 published an article on suicides and deaths that affected her family for The Guardian. Bea's mother Helen She is a trainer for jockeys as well as a former professional jockey, was the one responsible for taking care of her and Sinead. The family was racing and horse-related. Bea was a child an instructor in the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she was not interested in the racing industry. Instead, she was drawn to the artistic arts.
